Madonna Della Strada

Isn't she beautiful? This is my favorite framed artwork in our home, Madonna of the Streets. I am especially fond of it because it is a tapestry made of linen and it radiates an inviting heavenly warmth in person.

I have a little story to tell about her. Long ago, when Sears used to publish an in home catalog, this was an item they had listed for purchase. I fell in love with her and charged it to our Sears card. I waited and waited for the charge to show up on our card, but it never happened. I called to inquire about the $200 purchase and they had no record of it nor did they carry this product. Unbelievable! It was a gift from Our Lady.
