June Bugs

Augustine and Daddy share June birthdays. Gussy's was on June 17 and Daddy's was today.

I'll post a few photos to keep things updated. I wish I had time to smell the roses.

He requested a Pac-Man cake.

A Birthday Wish
Augustine had asked me year after year to have this family over and his wish finally came true. He was soooooooo happy! He thanked me over and over. His sincerity in gratitude was precious. I could hear it in his voice.

I'm the type of person that won't invite most people over unless the house is clean. It's a sad fault. Our house is seldom clean. I invited them anyway despite the mess.We had a great time!

Adam probably has no clue how much Gussy loves him.

Gussy probably has no idea how much we love him.

He got a new fluorescent orange colored bike for his birthday and squirt guns. Every boy should own a squirt gun or two or three or four even if they make their mothers go mad when they use the freshly cleaned house windows as targets.

Today this man turned 29 again for the 18th year in a row. Do the math;-) And he still plays with fire. Little Johnny turned and looked at me in amazement as Daddy brushed his finger back and forth through the flame. And the Knight wonders why our boys are pyromaniacs. Hmmmmmmm.

This gift is somewhat selfish on my part. The Knight tends to use my over sized coffee mug on the weekends and by getting him is own man sized mug perhaps he'll leave mine alone.

I'm going to miss having Costco just 6 minutes down the road from us. They have been a lifesaver for us over and over. I would have thought this cake was homemade....scrumptious!

Happy birthday to the June Bugs!!!

  1. Your Gus is getting so big! Happy birthday all around. I can't believe how much everyone is growing and changing. I'm glad you're posting even though you have so much on your plate right now.

Sorry about the clean windows, lol! :)
