Family Photo Shoot 2013

And over 300 photos later....we present a few of our favorites. (I must add that I am happy Andrew was with us today.)

Do you have any clue how much work this was? I won't tell you. BUT...one hint...it took all year to pull this together. All year. This photo shoot was an experiment of sorts. We have always had a professional photographer take our photos. I wanted to give it a shot. The odd thing is that our younger children seemed to do better when I set the automatic timer and had the camera do it's own work than when I personally took them free hand. What's up with that?

The testosterone club

The estrogen club

Honorable mention

I so wish this one had turned out more clearly. I set the camera on a tripod and timer. So much to learn and so little time. If I can ever afford to buy photoshop I'll see if I can do something with the resolution in this photo because it is mostly my favorite. It starts off so dark on John's side and gets to light toward my end. Boohoo!

At ease

 The real world

Oddly enough I like the previous one better.

Ham and a half - he loves the camera. Can you tell?

I can't get up.

Another rescuer comes to his aid.

Oh, the theatrics

Sticks and stones

I love to photograph Gussy. He is so photogenic when he is by himself without distractions.

This kid needs to eat more;-)

My sweet Magpie

skipping rocks quickly became chucking boulders

Rapunzel

All grown up

Mr. Happy Pants

I missed this guy. He was gone the entire week benchmarking at a nuclear plant in Illinois. It was a long week without him. I am glad he is home.
