I hope this does not become a trend. I am pretty sure that Gabriel will not be allowed to get his license until he is 18. I can't stand this kind of stress. Do they ever learn? Don't text and drive - even if it is a text to your mother. God is so merciful!
We went back to the scene this afternoon. It was 10 p.m. last night when we received the call. Andrew walked away without a scratch. I am certain that his Angel was with him. The witness said he almost rolled the truck. Two of the fence posts went right through the windshield.
The elderly couple that own this estate were so kind. I talked to the husband via phone this morning. They had not yet gone out for the day and were unaware of the incident. They are not able to see the front of the property from their home since it is located on over 20 acres. I was the first to inform them of the incident per our phone conversation. The damage to the fencing was extensive, but he stated he was glad that our son was okay. Me too.
