Hummus
- 2 cans 15 oz. garbanzo beans (keep some of the juice to thin out)
- juice of whole fresh lemon (I use Santa Cruz brand straight from the jar and it's just as tasty)
- large clove of garlic (4-5 is better!)
- salt to taste
- 4 tblsp. of tahini (Eastwind nut butters, organic tahini, roasted - no salt 16 oz. jar)
- cumin 1/2 tsp.
Mix together in food processor (Vitamix) until smooth and creamy (if ingredients is too dry add a little juice you saved from garbanzo beans and/or olive oil to achieve desired consistency)
Serve with fresh cut veggies, pits chips, etc.
Looks delicious! One of these days we will get the Vitamix.
