This evening my sister Amelia was pinned by our Mom at the Nursing Pinning Ceremony. Despite unimaginable obstacles and trials endured, Amelia kept moving forward and will now graduate on June 1st. I could not be a prouder sister. All things are possible with God!!!

I didn't think we were going to make it to her ceremony this evening. I
had a very uncooperative child that refused to listen to me and I came close to dragging him to the van to go with us. Then, we got one mile away from
home and the van ran out of gas. Someone that knows better had not filled
the tank on his way back from work and so there we were coasting
downhill next to a farm field of cows. I told the boys to get out and
push the van to the next side street so we were not stalled on the
corner. That would be dangerous. As they were pushing, the cows in the
field got up from lounging, walked toward the edge of the property near
the electrical fence, lined up in a row and began watching us all the
while monotonously mooing. It was a Godsend - a humorous situation. We
all started laughing hysterically - the cows were amused by us and vice versa. It
lightened the whole mood and I could not be mad anymore. Simultaneously
two angels out of nowhere showed up with enough gas to get us to the
Shell station one mile down the road. God was looking out for us.
Congratulations, Amelia! (And what a journey to get there, lol.)
