Instructor showing Johnny the structure of a ski and how it's components work.
The instructor was getting him adjusted to the feel and movement of wearing a ski and that was all the further he got. I left him with her to go feed the screaming baby that was being watched by his big brother in the van and the next thing I know I get a phone call from Daddy to let me know that Johnny was crying because I left and he was now with him in the lodge. He had enough of skiing. Oh well. There's always next year. (He's really attached to his mama.)
Later in the day...
Father suggested taking photos of Johnny's reaction to him giving him a Warhead Sour Candy (Lemon flavored, I think).
Jean-Marie's thought bubble: Perhaps wearing Dad's new Atomic hat will get me through the first layer of sourness. (Father is enjoying this immensely.)
I think it worked. A magic hat!
A "Scenic View" along our way home from the Upper Peninsula. I'm sure this is beautiful in the Autumn. Things are looking so dismal in Wisconsin; looking forward to spring...oh, wait, today is the first day of spring!
Lol, I'm sorry it's been so cold by you! (It's way colder than usual here too -- ugh. But we have sun. And the temps are rising slowly.)
ReplyDeleteJean Marie is so cute! He sounds like a little sweetheart.
