It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Do people get sick in Texas or Arizona? A warm climate is sounding better and better. This is only a fraction of the sicklings. The Knight got it too. Bathrooms are fully occupied. Multiple symptoms and no two alike: hacking, watery eyes, vomiting, fever, chills, headaches, etc. Germ warfare. Five kids managed to keep the scheduled ski trip to the UP even though three of those five were sick. I was told that upon arrival, Nathan slept in the van until after lunch because he felt so lousy (he was the driver filling in for Daddy). I now realize it was poor judgement on my part to send them off. They got home, ate, and two of the five kids crawled in bed. I hope they don't regress.

  1. Aw, sickness seems to be a theme of post-Christmas. Isaac got a bug, too, but is better now. Thankfully, we were spared!

  2. Sorry to hear you all were so sick. Hope you all get better real soon! With all the germs floating around at the hospital, I'll be lucky to not get something myself, although we've been wearing masks with known cases of the flu and gowns for some of our other isolation patients.
