Drink the Love of St. John

I was never a big wine fan (or any alcohol for that matter) until a very good friend introduced me to good wine. Really good wine. That and the fact that we have 4 teens, a nice glass of wine or two (or three) is a nice way to relax after a long day! Little people problems are much easier to handle than big people problems. Have another glass;-) (Rosary in one hand, wine in the other.)

Wine IS a Catholic thing ya know. I love being Catholic. It's too bad millions have not discovered it's richness (the faith, that is). You can read a smidgen about today's feast day HERE and HERE (scroll down to the blessing of wine.)

And how's this for a seal of approval:

"If it please you, Lord God, bless and consecrate this vessel of wine (or any other beverage) by the power of your right hand; and grant that, through the merits of St. John, apostle and evangelist, all your faithful who drink of it may find it a help and a protection."
