This morning the phone rang unusually early. I did not recognize the number and John was not going to bother answering for that very reason. I'm glad I decided to pick it up. What a pleasant surprise. Andrew was calling from Germany! We talked for a brief 7 minutes and he said the that mountains don't look anything like they do in photos and that he had just enjoyed a delicious lunch that he "thinks" was meatballs with cabbage. He sounded so utterly overjoyed. I can't wait until he returns on the 29th to tell us all about it.
Later in the day...
Jean-Marie: "The baby isn't hooked on Mommy's tummy anymore."
Daddy: "Nope. The doctor unhooked him."
Silly boys.
That's exciting for Andrew! And the boys are funny!!
