Pony Rides and The Budweiser Clydesdales

Johnny's First Pony Ride
I took advantage of having one child today while the others went to Six Flags with Daddy to use their free tickets from the Read to Succeed program. I think Johnny is getting spoiled. But... I also could not pass up free pony rides at my favorite park.

My sister and her son Jacob (my Godson) met us there. I love this photo of him pinching "Bronco." Makes me laugh every time I look at it.

Here is a sweeter photo for the sake of balance. Jacob kept the workers and visitors entertained by making neighing noises. Strangers giggled. He is so full of life!

Is it possible for horses to possess a sense of humor? "Ace" turned his back toward us when I went to take his photo!

"Duke" was much more dignified!

In my opinion, Clydesdales are thee most majestic of all of God's creation. That is it.

  1. I love Clydesdales too, Mary! Once, I went on a little field trip with some other moms and kids when our kids were little to a Clydesdales farm in Brandon (about 45" from us.) They loved it too. It takes a long time to get each horse ready for a parade by the time they get washed and groomed with braided tails, and then get their harness and saddles on. The boys look so cute! I bet they had a great time!
