Did you know that today is National Flip Flop Day? Me neither until the young lady at the checkout informed me of it as I was purchasing - you guessed it - flip flops. Sheer co-inky dink.
Please, don't label me a pagan. I know that it is the Feast Day of the Sacred Heart. (Why someone in the secular world attributed today to flip flops is beyond me and I don't care to know either.) We were on our way to the Society of the Scared Heart retreat and I stopped to get tennis shoes. I didn't find any I liked and I saw these flip flops....couldn't help myself. The Knight has compassion on me during preganancy (mostly) so I sorta take advantage of it. I know, I'm naughty. Give it another 6 weeks and I won't be able to see my feet while I'm standing up straight! hehe
