On our way home from catechism we saw thee most vivid rainbow ever. It was almost blindingly bright and we could distinctly make out every color of the spectrum. The indigo was stunningly beautiful. It remained in this state for the length of our ride home. It was as though each color was painted in the sky, just barley overlapping. A few people were pulled over along the roadside using cellphones to take photos. By the time we got home, it had begun to fade and Mag biked down the rode to snap a photo.
"Can I touch the rainbow? asked Johnny. Pleeeeeease!" I told him it was too high in the sky. Either he didn't believe me or was hopeful I had no clue what I was talking about. Within ten minutes he asked his sister..."Chessy, can you take me outside, so you can lift me up, so I can touch the rainbow?" (How cute is that?) After the rainbow had faded, he came over by me and sat on my lap and said, "Can God make another one? I can ask Him on the phone. He has one, too."
