Shakespeare's Twelfth Night or What You Will

Last month, Francesca and Gabriel auditioned for small parts in Twelfth Night. Today, we learned they will indeed be a part of the cast. They are very excited!

I am so thankful that the children have an opportunity to be involved in Shakespeare productions with other Catholic families; it is a good experience and they have a lot of fun.

In the past, the older children missed out on many outside homeschool activities, because I didn't want to do a lot of running since we lived so far away in the county at the time. I regret not making that extra sacrifice. I wish I could take it back. I'm certain there is some resentment from the first round of teens (they are a vocal bunch), but I've loosened the ropes a bit. Hold an egg too tightly and it breaks.
