It was a busy day. John had to work, unfortunately. I think this is the first time he has missed the celebration of a child's birthday. Not bad, really, considering all the birthdays we celebrate at Gemstone Trail. As I type, the four teens and a friend are on their way back from the last (and late) showing of October Baby. Nathan recently texted about the movie, "I'm definitely touched. Wow!" I have to add that they chose the late showing so they could use Daddy's car when he returned from the evening Spanish Mass. Heaven forbid they have to drive the embarrassing 15 passenger van with the "dorky" homeschool bumper sticker on it.
Back to the birthday. He is still awaiting a birthday gift. He is undecided. Four stores of unsuccessful rollarblade shopping and he says, "Just get me a gift card."
Happy 19th Birthday, Nathaniel!
Happy Birthday Nathan!
