The older children were not home and all but one of the younger children had run outside to play in the last hours of daylight. Johnny was sitting at the counter, still eating his late supper, and heard a noise. The freezer was self-defrosting and since the house was unusually quiet, it was rather amplified. He asks, "What is that?" I state, "It's the fridge." He giggles and inquires, "Is it peeing or something?" I have to admit, it was a perfect sound analogy!
