Magdalena's seventh birthday has been a joyful milestone in her life...
...for she has reached the age of reason.
She made her first confession the past October on St. Therese's feast day and is blossoming into such a fine young lady.
She's showing signs of maturity, which can be seen above as she silently lets her brother assist in slicing the cake, rather than the notorious, "I'll do it myself!" (One of her first sentences.)
It is good to remain childlike... and toy with silly putty!
AND... let us always remember to appreciate some of the simple joys in life, like a good puzzle book, or a paint book, or something to fill and enrich your idle time.
You can see the difference in Maggie from one year to the next. She is really growing up. The cake looks delicious! It looks like someone put a lot of effort into it.
