Computers are such a contradiction. Can't live with them, can't live without 'em. After trying over and over to upload Mag's Seventh Birthday photos, I've succumb to using her pictures from last year's birthday. Until I can figure out the problem, this will have to suffice. Testing my patience......
Mag assisted Nathaniel with baking a three layered, lemon-filled, silver white cake topped with almond flavored, white mountain icing ~ tongue twister! I'm telling ya' these kids could one day open an elite five star restaurant. It was the BEST cake we've ever had, without being bias ~ delectable!
First thing I noticed in this picture was the tomboy in Mag. A princess at heart, but she ALWAYS rolls up her sleeves! This is her trademark! And she feels most comfortable with what I call the "granny ponytail." You know the kind that you pull back so it rests just above your shoulders yet out of the face. That's my Magpie! She's such a helper too. Baby John is almost her size and she totes him around like she is the mommy. It's amusing to watch. Kinda like how ants carry food twice their size!
Happy Birthday, Sweetie!!! Your cake sounds delicious! You guys could easily open a bakery. We'll have to sample some of your baking if we ever get up there one day soon. We'll have to see how the upcoming weekends look. There aren't many weekends I'm not working it seems, but I would like to see you guys before your trip to Switzerland.
