ReplyDeleteAww...how precious! What a neat posting! And, I have to say I feel envious of your nice washing machine (ha! ha!) I noticed it's a front loader! Of course, you guys sure could use one of these. Do they really hold a lot of laundry? What did you name the guinea pig? They are cute (and chirp a lot!) Hope you had a very Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first front loader we have owned. The only thing I do not like is that it shakes the house during the drain cycles. It does a fantastic job ringing out the clothes so they dry quickly on the line; we don't own a dryer. They come in all different capacities and this one is a decent size. As for the guinea pig...Mag named her Ginger. We LOVE her chirping noises and responsiveness! She is a perfect pet for a young girl ~ easy to take care of it!
ReplyDeleteThat front loader is the thing I noticed too! I think I've got a handle on the laundry for now. I cut way down on the amount of clothes the kids have and now there isn't too much to wash. But I imagine when they're teenagers they won't let me give away their clothes the way I do now!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love this list. We have had to change the sheets at 3am more times than I care to remember!
That 3am sheet changing reminded me of one of ours who had a little bit of a stomach problem when he was younger. At least we had a warning. He'd start coughing, and then it would come. So, if we could hear the coughing right away and could run in there with a towel or bowl as fast as our legs would carry us, we'd have much less laundry as we'd save the linens and sometimes even the PJ's. Lucky his room was near ours at the time. And lucky, it was something he outgrew.
