Joachim's First Haircut

Two different people have mistaken Joachim for a girl this past week. His siblings have also mentioned giving him a haircut over and over for months. Joachim has even asked for a haircut through the power of them suggesting it. It was the most difficult haircut I've given to one of our children. He did not sit still. He also acted peculiar as you will see from the plethora of photos. I had a hard time limiting it to a few shots as you will see why. So much personality going on here. These expressions came out of nowhere. I thought I knew my son. I must have missed this memo.

He became upset because his hair was gone. I thought he was going to cry. It was kind of pitiful.

He couldn't bare to look at it any longer. He didn't say anything but by the expression on his face he was not happy about the haircut.
