I've been very slow to buy anything for this baby. I must admit that since burying our little Gianni last year and singing for three full term baby funerals at our previous church in Green Bay,  I have felt a bit hesitant I'll say. I do need to get her a few more things. This is it for newborn size at present.

 

I always have a grand supply of every size and kind of Onesie. This is one of my BIG baby staples. Half of this pile is over 22 years old. I love that! I've added to it since the birth of our first baby.

 

I couldn't resist this ruffled Ralph Lauren dress I picked up at a second hand shop. Jojo thought it was cute too. He said, "Awwwwww, a princess dress!"  

Now the waiting game has begun. Less than 3 weeks away. I'm dreading giving birth, but can't wait until it's over; a pregnant mother's oxymoron. 

I waited much too long to receive my Mother's Blessing. Today I asked a new priest from the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter in Minneapolis if he had time to bless us after he had already been hearing confessions for two hours during Mass. I was so thankful he said yes. I swear one can almost see a transfiguration on the face of a newly ordained priest. They have such a sweetness and glow about them!
