Because...
For the last couple of weeks he wakes up and asks, "Where's Daddy?" I think he's been asking because he knows the Knight is a morning person and always up before mommy and if he's home he'll come to his rescue and take him downstairs with him. I've been telling the poor kid to go back to bed so I can sleep in. I just can't do the early mornings as of late unless I absolutely have to.
After asking, "Where's Daddy?" it always follows with a, "Let's go down-stay-wers." (downstairs)
This is the first morning he was demanding we go down-stay-wers because he made a face at me and held it for a good 30 seconds - long enough for me to grab my phone off my nightstand and snap another photo. lol
