Andrew's High School Graduation

There were well over 400 students that graduated today. It was unreal. East Ridge was packed to the brim. Invitations were by "ticket reservation only." I had never heard of such thing....a high school graduation? That is just so wrong. We were one of the "special" ticket holders with 6 tickets; maximum was 4 per family. I was not happy about that. They either need to build another high school or rent a place that can accommodate everyone. That means that Dad and Mom, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Francesca and Gabriel got to sit in the main graduation area and the other siblings and Grandma and Andrew's girlfriend sat in the auditorium and watched it all happen on a monitor in another room.

All the siblings wanted individual photos with their brother.

Joachim needed a nap. He was forced to be in the photo regardless.

This is my favorite photo ever of my mom and one of her many grandbabies.

Right before we left, I had told Nathaniel this was a formal occasion and he needed to change out of his day clothes into something formal: shirt, tie, dress pants, etc. He had no dress clothes. None. Zilch. I told him to go pick something nice out of Andrew's closet. He did. He wasn't too happy about Nathan's choice. It was the shirt Andrew purchased with his own money for prom at his girlfriend's school. The vest was also the one he wore to his prom at East Ridge. I should have asked him change into something less sentimental.

  1. Congratulations, Andrew! What a handsome gentleman you've become!

Side note: I'm impressed with your photography skills, especially while pregnant. My camera shakes when I'm preggo, lol!

  2. These pictures are incredible! Just thinking about how much work went into all those years of education makes them mean so much more. Congratulations, Andrew! The world is blessed to have you in it.
