I purposely left my camera at home and I can honestly say I have no regrets in doing so. It was the funnest two day end-of-winter-break we've ever had. I just wish Nathaniel had been able to take off work to join us. He was the only part missing from our mini getaway. I guess I have to accept this is a new chapter of life that we can't always be together.
This sign on the entrance no longer applies. All the snow melted a week ago in Minnesota AND apparently in most of Wisconsin. The weather was gorgeous for a winter day in March and we didn't freeze while swimming. 60 degrees never felt so great!!! God was merciful on the Midwest.
Almost 19 weeks along - practically half way there. I feel her moving a lot now and she hiccups. She has strong movements for such a tiny thing. I told Elizabeth to take the photo from a good angle and hide my fat - the sign of a fantastic photographer!! I have gained SO MUCH weight (31 lbs.!!!) that I couldn't feel her move until the last 3 weeks which was kinda freaking me out until I heard her heartbeat again at my last ob visit.
Jojo was a really good boy and even thanked me for taking him swimming. None of the other children were present except Elizabeth when he said it, nor had the others thanked us yet, so his gratitude was expressed all on his own accord. It was so precious!
You know it's a fun trip when the otherwise fussy toddler is enjoying life.
Here's to good food and fun!
The Hurricane (crazy kids!)

You look great! I'm so glad you had a midwinter reprieve. It was a looooooong winter!
