John and I went back to finish packing up yesterday before the closing. I'm not going to lie; we're going to miss this kitchen and square footage in this home. "Don't know what you got until it's gone" is a perfect adage.
We also stopped at our friend Debs (only her husband was home) to pick up our last order of processed lamb and chocolates in preparation for Easter. Deb has been a great friend for years and years even though we do most of our chatting via technology. Deb is a very busy lady with a homestead and 4-H and gardening and homeschooling and her list goes on and on. Even though we seldom saw each other, I already miss her.
