Andrew decided to greet us with breakfast in bed early Christmas morning. I was VERY surprised! (Thank goodness it's blurry - he posted this photo to FACEBOOK. - UGH!) I'm NOT, I repeat, NOT a morning person. I thought I was dreaming for a second when he said whatever it was that he said to wake us up as he handed us each a plate of warm food. This photo really does crack me up. This is us. In the raw. Unshowered. Messy room with moving boxes full of books that are still being sorted. Humidifier in corner so we don't keel over from the illnesses we've continuously shared since late October. Yep. This is us. Nathan looks like he fell back asleep sitting up. This is almost frame-able. Lol
I hope you are all feeling better! What a nice Christmas gift from Andrew! As we were preparing this year, I thought, "What do I really want for Christmas? The kids to clean up after themselves!!" Maybe one day we will even get breakfast in bed!! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this picture! This is real life. Your room looks better than ours. I think every persons room looks like that in the morning, minus all the cuddlers. I love cuddling with the little ones in the morning. They are so cute.
ReplyDeleteJohn is a blanket thief. See how the covers are hanging on the floor on his side? My side is all wadded up from trying to reclaim my portion of the covers:) Lol
