Braces Begone!

Braces looked so cute on her. I'll kind of miss them. She won't. No before photo, Mom!

Alternative - take a shot of the monitor when the technician logged into her file.

I think the photo on the left was when she was about 13, right around the time she had her tonsils and adenoids removed. To the right is a more recent photo WITH braces. I still think they looked cute on her.

Yes, this is nasty to look at. She had a lot going on in this mouth of hers. She had to have upper teeth uncovered by laser and gradually pulled down. They were very stubborn and it took forever. You will also notice a very deep overbite.
 

This poor kiddo has had so much orthodontic work done. What a great milestone after almost 4 years of treatment!

Days later - brace free!

    Yay, Francesca! I had to have one of my incisors pulled down too! It's so nice to be finished. :)
