Francesca is helping Gabe out with his smile. She's getting him ready for Birthday photos. What are sisters for anyway?
They are for making cool cakes for their bothers;-)
That's more like it. Love that smile! Happy 13th, Gaby Baby!
Right before he fell asleep

This is probably not even close to what Gabriel imagined he would be doing on the afternoon of his 13th birthday, but I was not going to miss this concert, Carmina Burana. (Powerful piece of work, btw. I'd never heard it in it's entirety before.) It's not every day that Andrew is asked to fill in for a friend and play keyboard in the Green Bay Civic Symphony, so we dragged Gabe along with us. Seating was first come first serve and thank goodness Andrew purchased our tickets and had them waiting for us because it was sold out when we arrived. Needless to say we did not end up sitting together because we got there 3 minutes prior to the start of the performance and had to split up. We had been eating cake at home and scrambling to get out the door. Which brings me back to the birthday boy.
Happy 13th birthday, Gabriel Angelo Pio! Welcome to the teenage years:)

A teenager! Woohoo! Happy Birthday, Gabriel! (That cake is absolutely FABULOUS looking! I bet it tasted great, too :) )
