The Wheels On the Bus...

...go round and round, especially in the winter. We get some nasty snowdrifts on Gemstone and it took me three tries to get out of our subdivision. We are last on the list for the snowplows to come through and clear the street.

Here is my gaggle of naughty-kins waiting for Gabe outside the school. Don't they look so well behaved? It's all a facade. They were fighting prior to this photo. I told them, "Get in your seats and buckle!" with my serious mommy voice.

I remember being so excited as a kid when we'd hear the superintendent of our school announce over the loudspeaker that school was closing early. The classrooms of pupils would cheer! You could hear student voices from all ends of the building shouting with joy. Gabe was happy about it today too.  Two less hours of school. Time to raid the refrigerator back home.

Update: we have mounds of snow tonight. Shoveling a path to the doggy "snowbox" over six times today was great exercise and I got plenty of fresh air. I hope we have an early spring. One can wish.
