It's No Fun Being Sick

We were just beginning to see improvement with Joachim when these photos were taken last week. The spots began to disappear shortly after people began praying (they were much worse the first few days accompanied by a 6 day fever of 103.) I personally think it was a delayed reaction to the antibiotics, not measles like the on-call doctor thought originally. Scary nonetheless.

I l.o.v.e. this photo. Jojo had just taken a long steamy shower with mama to help loosen up his phlegm so he could breath better. He was so happy afterward despite feeling so lousy. Daddy was helping mama by getting him dressed for the day. This was a precious bonding moment. Joachim was sharing his socks (and playing with the camera lens cover). This one is my favorite because they are so intently looking at one another with identical expressions.
