She's Her Father's Daughter

Today (yesterday, since I see the clock switched over to Friday 19 minutes ago) was a looooong day and I am finally getting to correcting Magdalena's schoolwork. I just finished marking her Vocabulary assignment. Lesson 88 is about the roots: "port" and "ject." She was required to define the word "porter." The correct answer is: "one who carries travelers' luggage." Mag's answer was: "a dark beer resembling light stout made from malt that has been dried at a high temperature." Yep, she's her father's daughter!

    1. It is hilarious! I was surprised at her answer because she used the term correctly in a sentence, but still wrote down the second, less common definition.
