Bijou is Here to Stay

Bijou is a good match for our family. She is staying. I say that because we have tried being dog owners over and over and over and over. Yes, that many times. The second sentence may sound like a very premature statement since she has only been here since the 6th and we are all still in the honeymoon phase of being animal owners, but we l.o.v.e. this puppy.

Everyone takes turns helping (even though she is my poochy). She has barely been put down she was welcomed into our home last Friday - thank you St. Nicholas. Hopefully, the willingness to help does not dwindle when it comes time to help pick up frozen turds outside in this sub-zero to single digit weather and or when my helpers shiver in the back yard holding a puppy leash while she does her duty at odd hours;-) But I'd be willing to wager that they will continue to fight over who gets to cuddle her and play with her. She's an absolute doll!

See her designer white boots? They are Pradas. Lol!  She has the cutest little white markings all over and a wavy black fur coat. She loves to cuddle. She gives tons of stinky puppy kisses. Gabe and Lizzy get the most. I can see how people become attached to pets. Bijou is a sweetheart!

Bijou is quite the charmer. She likes to run jump onto my lap anytime it is accessible. If my lap is out of her reach she sleeps on my feet while I'm teaching. She follows me around like....um... a puppy. She likes me:) She has taken turns sleeping with different members of the family from day one. She mostly sleeps with me and John. Yes, we be crazy people. We are officially stinky dog owners and I love it!
