Letting Out Steam (Pun Intended)

Right now the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant is backing down in power and by noon it will be off the grid forever. It feels like a death of sorts. She has kept food on the table for the past 13 years. Last month marked John's 13th anniversary of his employment there. It is a bittersweet day. They will be down to around 300 employees by the end of this month and down to around 100 by September of next year. John could put in to stick around to 2020 with the pool of 100 people, but we are leaning more towards putting our home on the market next spring and moving on. There is a lot of uncertainty and we will continue to pray that we make good choices compatible with God's plan for our family. It all seems so drawn out at present and gives me an unsettling feeling. John just tries not to think about it. He keeps things in balance. :-)

  1. This sounds so bittersweet. I guess The Lord is really asking you to trust Him right now. We are praying for you guys.
