His roots are fully developed on his adult teeth yet they have not started to come down, so to avoid impaction we had them pulled per the orthodontist's advice. He did have pre-braces removed recently and will most likely have a full set of braces again in two years or less.
I just reread my comment. It sounds as though I said his adult teeth were pulled. I should have stated, "...so to avoid impaction we had 7 baby teeth pulled..."
Oh, poor Gabe! I can just imagine what that felt like. Is he getting ready for braces?

ReplyDeleteOh my! I had to have one pulled at 13. Hard time in life all around! But 7? Poor thing!!!

DeleteOn the bright side, the Tooth Fairy must have left him a little richer. Hopefully, he is all healed up to eat Christmas treats!
