It finally happened. We've been waiting...and waiting...to find out what was going to happen with John's place of employment. It has been on the market for a year and a half. There had been rumors during the past year about the possibility of it closing if a buyer was not found. This morning came that very announcement HERE.
Life is an adventure being married to a nuclear engineer. It has really taught me detachment (I'm not quite fully there yet). Only this time is going to be the most difficult move for our family. We have made so many good friends here that are like family. We have been blessed with a beautiful home and good neighbors (most of them anyway!) It is an inexpensive place to live for a large brood such as ours. Our family has since grown over twice its size the past 12 years and there are many memories we will leave behind. I hope I don't sound like I'm giving a eulogy. There is just so much to be thankful for and I'm going to miss it even though I'm fond of complaining!
In the meantime I have my children to continue to educate, a new babe to snuggle, and a ton of square footage to prepare for a home sale. It seems like we just went through this. Oh, yeah - we did! Only this time I will have to hire help. It would be impossible otherwise.
Postings will most likely be done by the children if they have something THEY want to share. God will have to multiply my time like he did the loaves and fishes. And so here goes another chapter in our lives.
I never tire of seeing baby photos, so I will most likely continue posting those without comments. Who needs words with baby photos anyway? The cuteness says it all!
He is absolutely precious! We will pray for you and all of the decisions you have ahead.
ReplyDeleteOh my word! There is no lack of drama in your life! I will be praying extra hard for you all. Do you know where you will be moving?Thank The Lord for that adorable little baby. He is seriously one of the cutest babies I've ever seen! I'd be really jeoulous if I didn't have one of my own to snuggle right now:-)
