The fruit of John's hard work; beans - semi-wooden beans. They grew by leaps and bounds during our vacation and there was not time to pick them until a few days later and by then they were a bit overripe. I lightly steam them and we eat them anyway. They aren't too bad. The tomatoes on the other hand are great. Nothing comes close to a freshly picked garden tomato. Mmmmm
