Happy 16th, Andrew!

Tomorrow, we go to
apply for his birthday gift - a passport. Andrew was invited on a trip to Europe with Augustine's Godmother, who is also the mom to one of Andrew's good friends, Paul. Andrew has been feverishly saving for the trip and is growing more and more excited about it as we explore the web, in search of different places they will possibly explore. HERE. I am so glad that he has this opportunity. I also am thankful to Colleen for inviting him and braving a trip with four teen-aged boys.
I visited Gricigliano while studying abroad in Rome. It's one of the most beautiful sites on earth. When we arrived a rain had just finished. The sun came out highlighting beautiful fogs around the hills. I'm so glad he gets to go!
ReplyDeleteHope your birthday was wonderful, Andrew! You are looking so grown up now. Enjoy your trip to Europe! All of us are going in August to visit the relatives in Switzerland. I'm really looking forward to it! Better learn some German before then. Are you learning any new languages?
