French Genes or Twitterpated

I am not quite sure what it is with our little Romeos. Either they are heavily saturated with sentiment from my French gene pool or it's a sure sign that spring is just around the corner. Two of my sons are twitterpated. Both girls are from the same family, mind you, that have captured their attention. I can't say I blame them; They are two beautiful little Catholic girls, the kind you want your sons to marry.

One of my daughters confiscated the above letter. The comparison my son Romeo makes of Juliet's sweetness to a Hershey bar and her hair to the sway of the flowers made me giggle. I told the Knight he could take a few lessons of Romance 101 from his 10 year old son.

As for this ring....Our six year old presented it to a five year old on St. Thomas Aquinas' feast day yesterday after Mass. The mom walked it over to our van on our way out of the parking lot and asked if I knew about it. The negative. We were both in laughter as I told her it was probably a chastity ring. I also found out he has been giving her other little tokens of love.

  1. Lol! I love it! This makes me feel so much better about our not-quite-three-years-old's crush. This boy told her she has Rupunzel hair and every time he sees her he is giving her tons of attention. My 7-year-old saw him kiss her after Mass. I wasn't sure what I thought about it all, so imglad to hear it is normal!
