This original 1962 movie star, The Bounty (ship pictured in background), housed Marlon Brando as Fletcher Christian in Mutiny on the Bounty. More recently, it is famed in the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean (which we have not viewed).
Voted one of two favorites by the children was the Europa. It is the oldest of all the Tall Ships. It was built by the city of Hamburg in 1911. After coming out of retirement in 1994, it started a new life as a sail-training vessel. Dimensions are 185' sparred length , 24' beam and a 12' Draft.
