...when you're perfect in every way! Remember that song? My Knight reminded me of it today. I guess I've been falling back into old habits like a dog going back to its vomit. And if one doesn't keep the order of God, Husband, Children, Others, things begin to fall apart.
For instance...
What started the trend of venom this afternoon was when my husband returned from Woodman's with a small percentage of organic groceries. It is a constant sore spot for the both of us. He wants to save money and I want to eat organic. The nerve of me to squawk and squabble about the inorganic groceries. You'd think he'd bought us poison by the way I went on ranting and raving of why we should only be eating all organic foods. After all, doesn't he know that is the reason we've had a bout of illnesses the past month? When we're done with one illness, we move onto another.
OK, so let's do a little probing here. Do you eat mostly organic foods and if so do you find yourself with less illness or don't you notice any difference? Or am I completely missing the point like in the Bible verse about the birds of the air not worrying about where their food will come from? Or, (I'm feeling talkative after this Honey Weiss Leinenkugel's) is it just time to cut my husband's mop on his head and then go to bed!
PS Seton would grade this article as Incomplete and return it telling me that I have not followed the 5 parts of developing a paragraph. I don't have time to rewrite this 9 times like the "good authors". I stick out my tongue:-P I better get to the haircutting business, it's getting late.

Nobody commented yet. I was waiting to see what everyone else said.
ReplyDeleteWe go through phases of very healthy eating.
Here are some trends I'm starting to notice over the years:
Every large family I know is getting sick all the time whether they eat healthy or not.
Some people eat healthy all their lives and still die young.
Some people don't care and never get sick- Doug eats worse than the rest of us and he hardly ever gets sick. The rest of us catch one thing after another. Genes must play a large role here.
I'm trying moderation at this point. We eat a lot of salads. A lot of fruit, veggies, etc. I don't worry if it says organic or not. I try to just not obsess about it. Until the next time we all get sick. And then I visit the "organic" sections of the store again!
