Then comes the actual photo shoot itself...hmmmm. The individual poses went smoothly and turned out fantastic. The kids get one on one attention. But there's just something about the group photo that doesn't appeal to them. They are no longer the center of attention and they all takes turns doing something about it. The photographer has everyone in place, but someone is making a face, another is pulling a girl's hair, Gus has his finger in his nose, yet another decides to join the circus for 15 minutes, and the list goes on. Trying to get 8different personalities to cooperate and look at the camera at the same time seems like any photographers daunting nightmare. Yet, she was a VERY good sport. Must have been because she came from a family of 12!

Then one of our brilliant Math students, name withheld, points out that the family pose forms the shape of the number SIX. Sure enough, we look like a BIG 6! I think we'll have photos taken in our home in the future.
nice pic...

ReplyDeleteThe way it turns out in the end is what matters...right? What happened? Despite the familial antics, they came through and the picture turned out well...rather exceptionally well.(ummm...I feel a sermon coming on...) Give yourself a pat on the back mom and say to John and the kids, "Hey, ya did good!"
