One year ago this day, Our Lady heard a prayer and assisted in the birth of Jean-Marie Joseph. Today he celebrates his birthday in common with Our Lady, thus being named after her and his Godfather, Canon Jean-Marie Moreau. (Am I qualified for some bragging rights now and then? I love the fact that a priest is his Godfather ~ a comforting certainty that prayers are being said for him.)
Baby John is uncertain of why everyone is staring at him while singing. It soon brought him to tears, although I don't think tears of joy. It was either our terrible singing or that fact that he isn't feeling well today! 
Glad that singing is over so I can devour my cake that big sis made!

Happy 1st Birthday, Little John! He looks a lot like his Daddy did at that age. It reminds me of the cute birthday pictures of John at that age. Hope he had a great day and feels better today! Give him a big hug and kiss from us.
