In honor of Our Lady's month of May, this past weekend the entire family cast aside worldly cares (such as packing) and made a pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians located in Hubertus, WI. It was a gorgeous grace-filled day that began with a procession lead by the priests of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. We then attended a Solemn High Mass followed by Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. It was truly a blessed day!

I LOVE that shrine! All I have are happy memories of that place. It is like being in another world.
ReplyDeleteWe were just there for the Mercy of God Sunday. They had several priests there for confessions. I never saw so many people attending before! The priest I went to reminded me of Dad. He must have been around 80, and was very kind. It is such a beautiful, peaceful place, isn't it? Did you try to bring your choir's CDs to their gift shop? It seems like a good place to sell them as there are a lot of people always going through there.
