Hosanna, filio David!

Not a year goes by that we haven't had a wide-eyed toddler using his/her blessed palm branch to torment those in the pews. What were once weapons of MASS destruction(hehe) have been weaved into crosses this afternoon to be placed in each room of the house, until next year, when the church will recycle them into ashes for Ash Wednesday. (Hey, even the church Goes Green)!

  1. Ha! Ha! You guys are pretty funny. I suppose you have to make the crosses while they are nice and moist. It's always hard to work with them when they get dried out. They look really nice.

  2. The crosses are great! Ours are unfortunately dried out by the statue of Our Lady in our entry. I loved this post. Our kids tormented us with palm branches this year (and each other- they kept hitting each other over the head with them). Doug tried to keep them under control on his own because I was in labor through the whole Mass and couldn't stand up. I don't think we'll forget this year:-)
