Great scores for their 1st time bowling!
Today we took a break from life. The five oldest children joined friends for a birthday party and went downhill skiing with daddy, while the three youngest went bowling with Mommy, Auntie Amelia and Nate(Amelia's boyfriend). This was a much needed relief from all the goings on around here.
Personalities showed through while bowling and I overheard a certain 3 year old telling his 6 lb. bowling ball that it was "wretched because it didn't knock down all the pins." Hmmm.....some character formation in need of reform perhaps!
Looks like it was a fun time. Did Mom bowl too? I hope everyone did okay downhill skiing. I tried it once, but am not very good at it. I'm not that adventurous-the thought of breaking my leg kind of holds me back. I hope the house selling is going okay. We're keeping you guys and also Joe and Jan in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteYes, mom bowled also. The kids just loved downhill skiing. You'll have to ask John what he thinks of it! We've only had 1 couple look at the house and they didn't like the layout. Thanks for the prayers, that's what matters!
