How about a peek into the behind the scenes of home selling?
A tour of our home was scheduled for 3pm today. We anticipated that we wouldn't finish preparing in time, so we packed up a cardboard banana box of papers and stashed it in the van. Three loads of unfinished laundry - in the van. The four foot St. Therese statute -in the van. The crucifix - in the van. And then just some odds and ends that don't seem to have a place in the home - in the van. When trying to sell our home 4 years ago someone was freaked out by our religious "stuff". So every time we have a showing, we'll most likely be driving around with a van full of sacramentals. Explain that one to the officer!
